Eco Team
If we want our children to save the planet, we must first teach them to love it.
What is the Eco Team?
At Thomas Russell Infants’ School, we nurture a love and an appreciation of being outside. We have lots of beautiful natural spaces around our school grounds that provide rich learning experiences and extend what is taught indoors. Everybody works together to look after our natural spaces but our Eco Team meet regularly to discuss ways in which we can enhance our own environment and minimise the impact that our school has on the planet.
Who are the Eco Team?
The Eco Team is made up of 12 children and our Eco Team co-ordinator, Miss Cooper. Two children from each class are selected to represent our Eco Team each year.
